Eye PAC

The Missouri Eye Political Action Committee (PAC), on behalf of the Missouri Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons, represents that political interest of Missouri ophthalmologists and their patients.  Money is raised to show bipartisan support to Missouri legislators that have demonstrated their commitment to preserving the quality and availability of medical/surgical eye care and will be in a position to advance the cause forward.

Ophthalmology nationally, as well as in Missouri, continues to face its toughest challenges.  Even though Missouri is currently under a moratorium until December 31, 2010, many states across the country have experienced threats to their scope of practice law.  Upon the sunset of the moratorium, Missouri must be ready.

As leaders in ophthalmology, it is of the utmost importance that you help in this fight by being a strong advocate for the profession as well as assisting financially.
